50-Word Object Descriptions: Mini Gallery

In English class today, students had the opportunity to display descriptions of objects they feel represent themselves. They transformed their one-page summer homework description assignments into museum labels of 50 words (or fewer). This is just the beginning of our exploration of the museum label genre. Stay tuned as we venture to the African Art Museum in a few weeks and students begin to write labels for artifacts that they will be creating in World Studies.
